Foundations courses are one of the admissions requirements to enroll in an undergraduate degree program. In their first term, newly admitted Foundations students will be placed in two courses: UNIV 1001 and an additional course that will be assigned according to the students鈥 major of interest, i.e. BA 鈥 BUS 1101, CS 鈥 CS 1101, HS 鈥 PSYC 1111. Please note, assigning courses that relate to the major of interest depends on how early students save their spot in each term and on general availability. More information about these courses can be found under the 鈥Prepare for School鈥 Section on our website. Once students complete their first two Foundations courses, they will be able to select up to 3 more Foundations courses.

Foundations courses are one of the graduate degree program鈥檚 admissions criteria. In their first term, newly admitted Foundations students will be placed in Foundations courses related to their desired Master鈥檚 degree program. Please note, assigning courses that relate to the major of interest depends on how early students save their spot in each term and on general availability. More information about these courses can be found under the course catalog. Once students complete their first three Foundation courses, they will be able to select one more Foundations course.
